Scrambling on the Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye
The short way down or up the Inaccessible Pinnacle.
Scouts on the Dubhs Ridge, the rope used here for a few moves, just in case!
Hairy scrambling! Scouts on the Dubhs Ridge scrambling carefully on good friction even in the wet. When the scouts packed their bags, bought their travel insurance and flights, they probably weren't imagining this hike, or this view! In fact, they probably hadn't considered how much they'd come to appreciate something as simple as dependable rope. It's unlike anything else in the world.
Jay Ritson leading a group down scree below the Thearlach Dubh Gap into Coire a' Ghrunda. This is where some of the rocks 'ring' if you tap them. It is also the venue for the Isle of Skye Troop B Stone Skimming Championships - having the perfect playing surface and many flat slightly curved stones freely available on site.
Tentatively, as always, coming off the Cioch.

Scouts on the top of Sgurr Alasdair, the highest point on the Cuillin Ridge of Skye.
